Ziad Al Sayeh

Director of Planning and Development at Bethlehem Municipality, he was born in Jerusalem, Palestine in 1986. With 9 years of experience, Al Sayeh has a demonstrated history of working in international cooperation projects, cultural heritage preservation, urban planning, sustainable development, and infrastructure projects. He holds a bachelor degree in architecture from IUAV University in Venice, Italy in 2008, and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the same university in 2011. In 2014, he received a professional diploma in public administration from Bethlehem University. In 2011, he worked in architectural design at “Sergio Pascolo Architects” in Venice, Italy. And in 2012, joined Bethlehem Municipality as the Director of the planning and development department, and is a focal point in several cooperation projects with Italian, French and German municipalities. He is a member in Bethlehem transportation regional committee, and has participated in several international conferences representing Bethlehem Municipality. He is a proficient speaker of Arabic, English and Italian.
