Senior advisor at the Prime Minister Office of the Italian Government in Rome. Presently he is Director General at the Department for public administration within the Prime Minister Office, he is in charge of the Office for Performance Management. He holds a Phd in Public Administration Management at University of Rome “La Sapienza” and graduated in Law from the international LUISS University in Rome.
Between 2008-2012 he has been appointed, by decree of the President of the Republic of Italy, Secretary General at the Ministry of Enviroment. For 2004-2008 and 2012-2015 he has been the Director General of the National Office against discrimination, within the Prime Minister Office, implementing the relevant EU directives. He is adjunct Professor of Administrative Law at LUISS University, LUMSA University and university La Sapienza in Rome and he is author of different articles and papers in administrative innovation, social policies and human rights.
From 2018 he is in charge of the first experimentation of Social impact and Public Administration within a Program of social innovation.
