Full Professor of Financial Management and Islamic Finance at the University of Torino. He acts as the director of the European Research Centre for Islamic Finance (www.ercif.org). He has been teaching at the University of Lanzhou (China) and at the National Chengchi University in Taipei (Taiwan) for several years. He is a speaker at national and international conferences and also an author of numerous publications in the field of Accounting and Islamic Finance. He is the Editor in Chief for the European Journal of Islamic Finance as well as the Scientific Journal of Management Science. He is Chairman and CEO of the university spin-off Halalto Srl, which deals with the attraction of investments for the territory.
