Diego Biasi

CEO and Co-Founder of Quercus Investment Partners Limited. He has worked in investment banking and finance for more than 20 years, with a focus on the renewable energy sector, working also for IMI Bank and Commerzbank. In 2010 he successful co-founded Quercus, building a portfolio of 40 utility scale plants and structuring debt facilities for over EUR 500m. He brought Quercus into ForVEI, a joint venture with Foresight, Adenium, VEI CAPITAL and CDC, which created a substantial portfolio of PV plants in Italy of some 90 MW. He also successfully negotiated for Quercus to participate in a joint venture with government owned UKGIB for the construction of London based TEG Biogas plant, the first commercial-scale anaerobic digestion and composting facility in the capital. He recently conducted the acquisition of Antin’s  PV platform in Italy, with a JV  between Quercus and Swiss Life Asset Managers.
